The Board of Dundalk FC would like to make it clear that we are very much supportive of our overall security at Oriel Park and we recognise that stewarding a football game is an extremely important and difficult job.
Recently, we sent our security team to a FETAC FAI approved stewarding course, which gives them additional experience, and training to deal with issues that arise during a game.
We would also appeal to the genuine Dundalk FC’s fans to continue to show solidarity between each other and police themselves so the good name that Dundalk Football Club has built up over the years and continues to build, does not get tarnished by a couple of mindless acts.
