The board at Dundalk FC have reduced the pricing for the Jim Malone match on Thursday night after taking note of feedback and comments from supporters and fans. The revised pricing for this match will now see the adult admission price to the general ground set at €10 with the stand €15, concessions (for Students and Senior Citizens) being €7 and €10 respectively, while children are €5.
Explaining the decision to reduce the prices from that originally announced, Colm Crosson commented “We regard the feedback and opinions of supporters as being hugely important, and particularly since the additional friendly match against Derry City was arranged for the same week, we recognise that it may be difficult for fans to combine both games. We want to make it feasible for as many supporters as possible to attend and encourage Ian Foster and his new squad in their vital preparations for the season ahead”
“We hope that we can get a large attendance for both these games, as the income from all home matches is vitally important to sustaining the club in these very difficult economic times. We also wanted to make a gesture to the existing loyal fan base, and to demonstrate in a tangible way that their opinions are taken into account. The club will never take the support of fans for granted as they are the lifeblood of the club. We do hope that fans will encourage friends, family and colleagues to lend their support on Thursday night against Drogheda and for the Saturday afternoon match against Derry, and will also support the DFC Trust re-launch of the Patron scheme at the Fans Forum evening in Oriel Park on Thursday of next week”
Pricing for the Derry City game which kicks off at 2pm next Saturday is €9 adults and €5 concession/child for either Stand or Ground
