The DFC Patron Scheme is the most important fundraising initiative managed by the DFC Trust.

What is the DFC Patron Scheme?
The Patron Scheme is designed to to provide an affordable and simple method of providing ongoing support in order to supplement the club’s wage bill.

Where is does the money raised by the DFC Patron Scheme go?
Money raised by the DFC Patron Scheme goes directly to the player’s budget. It is not used for any other costs incurred by the football club.

What is the difference between membership of the Patron Scheme and membership of the Trust?
The Patron Scheme is just one of a number of DFC Trust fundraisers. Membership of the DFC Trust is offered as part of Patron Scheme membership. However, it is possible to join the Trust without subscribing to the Patron Scheme.

How important is the Patron Scheme?
A successful Patron Scheme is vital if Dundalk FC want to compete for honours. Most of our main competitors have similar membership schemes in place. The Patron Scheme can make a tangible difference in the quality of player that Dundalk FC can attract to Oriel Park. In short: “Patrons Means Players!”

What is the best way to join the DFC Patron Scheme?
By completing a standing order form. These are available from DFC Trust Committee Members or in the DFC Merchandise Shop in Oriel Park.

How much does it cost?
Silver Membership costs as little as €4 per week. Gold Membership costs €8 per week. Platinum Membership costs €15 per week.
