Bob McKenna (born: 16 May 1994) is a striker that joined Dundalk in July 2011.

McKenna started out at Shelbourne in 2003 and enjoyed a six-year stay there before moving to Home Farm in 2009, going on to win a League Cup with them a year later.

The Skerries-born forward represented the FAI Emerging Talent in the summer of 2011, where he played against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City.

He then signed for Dundalk, and scored a double on his debut against Finn Harps in the final game of the A-Championship.

The 2011/12 season has seen the 17-year-old in incredible scoring form, netting 29 goals in 19 Under-19 games and ten goals in seven Under-18 outings, with his total now 41 goals in 27 competitive games between underage and reserve level.

He made his senior debut when coming on as a 75th-minute substitute against Derry City at Oriel Park on 8 October last, adding another appearance against Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds on the final day of the 2011 season.

McKenna also scored in a friendly at home to Newry City on 23 October, in a 1-1 draw, while he netted during 2012 pre-season away to Ballinamallard United in February, before going on to make his full senior competitive debut at home to his old club Shels on Good Friday, 6 April.
