Brian Bird (born: 28 May 1994) is a left-back who joined Dundalk ahead of the 2011/12 season.
Bird began his football career with Shamrocks in 2001 and went on to spend eight years there, winning the U13 Dundalk Schoolboys’ League Cup in 2007.
Two years later, he moved to Glenmuir United and won the U15 Schoolboys’ League & Cup double in his first season, adding a Player of the Year award for his performances during that campaign.
He was also part of the County Armagh Milk Cup team, winning the Slemish Cup with them in 2009.
In 2010, ‘Birdy’ joined Drogheda United. Last August, he signed for Dundalk.
