Glen Trainor (born: 12 August 1993) is a right-back who joined Dundalk ahead of the 2009/10 season.
Trainor started out his career at Rock Celtic at U10 level and enjoyed a four-year spell. He also spent time at Shelbourne before joining Dundalk in July ’09.
The Monaghan-born defender was part of the Dundalk Schoolboys’ League squad between U11 and U14 level, and was part of the U15 Irish Emerging Talent team.
Trainor won the DDSL U18 Super League in his first season at Dundalk, and last year was part of the squad that were runners-up in both the DDSL Major 1 U17 Division and League Cup, although his season ended prematurely due to injury.
