2019 DFC Fyffes Summer Camp

Dundalk FC presents three Fyffes Summer Camps and the annual Barry Kehoe Camp for boys and girls aged between 6–14 years old.

The camps run at Oriel Park on the following dates:

Camp One: Monday 1 July – Friday 5 July [FINISHED]
Camp Two: Monday 22 July – Friday 26 July [FINISHED]
Camp Three: Monday 12 August – Friday 16 August [CAMP FULL]
Barry Kehoe Summer Camp: Monday 19 August – Friday 23 August [CAMP FULL]

The camp is based on structured coaching sessions with expert coaching and lots of fun challenges and games. Each child will enjoy a fun-filled week and leave with lots of great memories, having learned something new.

Participants will each receive a full camp kit, certificate of completion and a football, plus have a meet and greet session with a group of Dundalk FC first team players.

Venue: Oriel Park/Grass
Day/Time: 10.30am – 3.00pm (Monday – Friday)
Fee: €80 per child

Can each child please bring a packed lunch including fruit, lots to drink (no fizzy juice), their football kit (top, shorts and socks), warm top and bottoms with moulded football boots or runners.

Terms & Conditions


The Fyffes Summer Camps are open to boys and girls between the ages of 6-14. The participant must be at least 6 years of age or no older than 14 years of age on the last day of the Dundalk FC Fyffes Summer Camps that they are attending.


Once the fees have been paid, a receipt will be issued. The receipt is confirmation of your place on the Dundalk FC Fyffes Summer Camps. Bookings should be made payable to Oriel Park. Discounts of €15 for each additional camp attended.

Medical Consent

Dundalk FC will not permit any child to participate in the Dundalk FC Fyffes Summer Camps without a medical consent form completed by their parent(s)/guardian(s). By signing up to the camps you give your permission to allow your child to be given medical treatment either by way of first aid by a suitably qualified person or by a doctor. You also consent to your child being taken to a doctor or hospital in case of emergency. Dundalk FC reserve the right to refuse an applicant based on the information provided in the medical consent form. If there is any change to the medical information you provided on your application form you must inform us prior to your Dundalk FC Fyffes Summer Camp.

Damages/Injuries/Loss of Possessions

Dundalk FC Fyffes Summer Camps are staffed by accredited FAI Coaches appointed by Dundalk FC who will implement the highest safety measures. Dundalk FC will not be held responsible for damages, injuries or loss of possessions. We strongly recommend that all valuables be left at home. At Dundalk FC Fyffes Summer Camps, participants may be asked to assume the position of goalkeeper or play with participants of a different age. The parent/guardian of any child who does not wish their child to assume this position or play with children of a different age must make it known to the Head Coach on the first day of their Dundalk FC Fyffes Summer Camp. In the absence of such notification it shall be deemed that the parent/guardian has consented to their child assuming a goalkeeping position or to playing with children of a different age if requested to do so by a coach.


Participants must follow the instructions of the coaching staff in charge. Misbehaviour or bullying may result in the participant being expelled from the Dundalk FC Fyffes Summer Camps and any fees will not be refunded. In the interest of safety, participants are not permitted to leave the Fyffes Summer Camps during the coaching session times without the written consent of a parent/guardian. If a child is expelled from their Fyffes Summer Camps, their parent/guardian will be contacted immediately and appropriate arrangements for the collection of the child will be made should the participant not have parental consent to travel to and from the venue.

Playing Attire

All participants must wear the official 2019 Dundalk FC Fyffes Summer Camp playing kit at all times throughout the duration of the camp.

General Information

Dundalk FC is responsible for all activities for the duration of the Dundalk FC Fyffes Summer Camps at Oriel Park. Head Coach Liam Burns will manage all coaching activities during the Summer Camp periods in Oriel Park

Photographic or Video Permission

All participants on the Dundalk FC Fyffes Summer Camps may be used in photographic or video material for promotional purposes by Dundalk FC. If the participating child is under a court order or is in care of the HSE the parent/guardian must advise Dundalk FC of this in writing before the commencement of the Dundalk FC Fyffes Summer Camps. If any parent/guardian does not want their child to be photographed or videoed by Dundalk FC for promotional purposes, the parent/guardian must advise this in writing to Dundalk FC, Oriel Park, Carrickmacross Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth at least 5 days prior to the commencement of the Dundalk FC Fyffes Summer Camp.


Dundalk FC shall not be accountable should the Dundalk FC Fyffes Summer Camps activities be suspended or cancelled due to adverse weather. In cases where the weather has affected the condition of the playing surface or is deemed so bad that coaching activities have to be suspended, the coaching staff will be available to supervise alternative indoor activities.

Cancellations & Camp Transfers

All cancellations must be notified to Dundalk FC, Oriel Park, Carrickmacross Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth or phone 042 9335894.


No refunds will be made after the playing kit has been presented to the participants or should the cancellation be notified after the camp has commenced. In the unlikely event that inclement weather forces the cancellation of the full week’s activities a full refund will be issued.
