Dummigan Enjoying Oriel Life
Defender Cameron Dummigan is ready to return to action after the midseason break after injury. Speaking to dundalkfc.com on Monday, Dummigan is feeling good after his recent ankle knock.
“I’m doing good, hopefully I will be back training this week again. It was just a bit of a nightmare because obviously I wanted to play, and then when I did play I thought I was doing alright until all of a sudden the injury hit.
“It’s just bad timing but these things happen in football and you just have to get on with it.”
Despite the injury interrupted start to his career at Oriel Park, the former Northern Ireland U21 international, has enjoyed his time at the club and was full of praise for his team mates as they head into the break top of the table.
“I have really enjoyed my time here so far. The lads and even the staff have all helped to make me feel very welcome – they’re a great bunch of people.
“I think everyone has done a tremendous job, we just focus on ourselves for every game.
“You can now see the results going our way and that’s the main thing, we just have to focus on ourselves and keep doing what we are doing and keep winning games.”
