Dundalk streaming pilot – update

Dundalk TV
// 15 Aug 2019

16/8 UPDATE: Due to technical reasons beyond our control, tonight’s game against Finn Harps at Oriel Park is no longer available as part of our streaming service. Monday’s EA Sports Cup semi-final will be streamed as planned and the two remaining games in the four-game pack will be announced in due course. We apologise for any convenience caused.

We have two big games coming up at Oriel Park in the next few days and, if you’re an overseas Dundalk supporter, you can now watch them both on our new streaming platform.

Tomorrow night we welcome Finn Harps to Oriel for our return to SSE Airtricity League action, before Bohemians visit on Monday night for what promises to be a cracking EA Sports Cup semi-final.

Both game are available to view on Dundalk TV – our streaming platform which launched last month, bringing you all of the big match action live online via a HD stream with commentary and live match graphics.

Individual matches are available to view for just €3.99 per game, or you can take advantage of our multi-game pass for just €9.99. With three of the original four games still left to play, the pass still offers great value for money, so visit dundalkfc.com/tv and sign up today.

Our streaming service kicked off on 1 July with our 3-0 win over Waterford and, despite one or two minor teething problems, the feedback we received from our overseas supporters was very positive.

Since then, two of the games originally scheduled for streaming – Cork City (H) on 19 July and Sligo Rovers (A) on 3 August – were postponed due to our participation in European competition, so our revised streaming fixtures are as follows:

Game 1: Dundalk 3-0 Waterford (SSE Airtricity League) – Monday 1 July
Game 2: Dundalk vs Finn Harps (SSE Airtricity League) – Friday 16 August
Game 3: Dundalk vs Bohemians (EA Sports Cup SF) – Monday 19 August
Game 4: TBC

With three Dundalk FC fixtures still awaiting a rearranged date to be confirmed by the FAI, the fourth and final game in our streaming pilot is yet to be finalised. As ever, stay tuned to dundalkfc.com and our usual social media channels and you’ll be the first to know.

Until then, enjoy your viewing – and it you’ve yet to get involved, you can sign up in no time at dundalkfc.com/tv.
