FAI Cup Final – Ticket Update
UPDATE: Tickets are available on the day from fai.ie/tickets, or from a Ticketmaster van outside of the Aviva Stadium, on the corner of Northumberland & Lansdowne Road.
Excitement is building ahead of this Sunday’s FAI Cup final as Vinny Perth’s Dundalk side take on Shamrock Rovers in the biggest game in Irish club football.
After an incredible season which has already seen the SSE Airtricity League and the EA Sports Cup head to Oriel Park, the Lilywhites have a chance to put themselves in the history books by becoming only the second Irish side to complete the treble.
It’s going to be a massive game at the Aviva Stadium (kick-off 3.40pm) against our rivals Shamrock Rovers. Tickets are still available to Dundalk FC supporters at Oriel Park and we need you to join us.
Our opponents are certain to bring a huge crowd to Lansdowne Road and we need to match them so, if you haven’t got your ticket already, make sure you join us at the Aviva stadium and be our 12th man.
Your support really makes a difference and all of the squad would love to see a repeat of the fantastic travelling army that made the journey down the M1 to last season’s final.
Dundalk captain Brian Gartland has called on Dundalk supporters to fill the Aviva once again (video above), whilst midfielder Jamie McGrath has recalled the boost that he and his team-mates received in last year’s final.
“I just remember last year, were playing down into that end when I came on and the fans were something else. It’s just different to any other game. There are so many more fans there and hopefully it can be the same on Sunday,” said McGrath.
“It’s an extra special game and it’s so important to have the fans there. I know they’ll come out, so hopefully we can do the business for them.”
