Dundalk FC 2-2 Cherry Orchard

Great battle in Oriel Park on Sunday as the Dundalk FC U-13 girls team took on Cherry Orchard in what would prove to be one of the best games of the season so far.

The young Dundalk side proved they deserved to be in the Premier Division once again by taking on top 3 team Cherry Orchard and not giving up after going down 2-0.

The Lilywhites fought back and showed they weren’t going to be bullied by a far more experienced team.

Dundalk’s first goal came from Saibh Morgan after some lovely play from the right wing. The second came from Jennifer Freeman after taking on two players and slotting the ball in the bottom right corner. Great team effort by all today and very proud coaches.
