GoFundMe page raises over €3,000 for ‘Frontline Heroes’
Everyone at Dundalk FC has been blown away by the response to our GoFundMe ‘Frontline Heroes’ initiative which was set up to raise funds for our healthcare workers who are taking on COVID-19.
Seven days after the campaign was launched with a target of €1,500, it has raised a total of €3,075 thanks to the efforts of 150 people who made a donation.
Every person who made a donation was entered into a draw for John Mountney’s 2016 Europa League shirt, signed by the whole squad. The winner was Frank Ryan.
Club officials have been in contact with nursing homes and healthcare workers in the local community to discuss what we will do with the funds. We will have full details in the coming days.
Thank you to everyone who made a donation!!
