Hoban: Hard Sessions
Dundalk striker Patrick Hoban has described the first stages as ‘tough but good’. Speaking to dundalkfc.com the Galway native feels he is improving each day.
“It’s quite tough – tough but good. It’s something that I really need after being off for a while but I’ve got through the days so far and I seem to be getting on OK.
“All the boys are getting fitter and stronger every day, that’s the main thing.”
The 26 year-old believes that these are the hardest sessions that he has been put through but is looking forward to the new season and is keenly awaiting the start of matches.
“All my pre-season training sessions have been different at the other clubs I’ve played for. I always found Graham Byrne’s training very hard – I found his have been the hardest sessions that I’ve ever done so in that regard I do have to put them up there for the best training.
“I can’t wait to get started – I can’t wait to walk out on to the pitch with the jersey on and get going. The main thing is to win games and trophies. You have to win games first and we’ve a great set of lads here in the club so hopefully we can do that.”
