Miller to Form Part of the Irish Medical Set-Up
Dundalk physio Danny Miller will form part of the Republic of Ireland’s medical team for this autumn’s upcoming international campaign.
Lilywhites physio since December 2017, Miller will combine his role at Oriel Park by working alongside Knockbridge-man Kevin Mulholland as a chartered physio for the Boys In Green.
An associate lecturer at University College Dublin, Danny completed his Master’s Degree in Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2001 at Curtin University, Perth.
He achieved the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists of Australia Student of the Year Award (Manipulative Therapy) and the Vice-Chancellors Prize for Most Outstanding Research Project.
Miller will be joined in the national set-up by former Lilywhites physio and Dublin City University graduate, Sam Rice, who left Oriel Park for Australia at the beginning of the 2019 campaign.
The Termonfeckin native was part of Stephen Kenny’s backroom team for four years and also worked with the former Dundalk manager at last summer’s Toulon U21 Tournament.
