We are delighted to unveil our new Umbro third kit for the upcoming 2022 SSE Airtricity League season.
It is based on the iconic all-red strip worn by Turlough O’Connor’s men on the final day of the 1990/91 season when Tom McNulty’s goal secured Dundalk a 1-0 win over Cork City to clinch the league title at Turner’s Cross.
McNulty, who made 476 appearances for the club across two spells that spanned 14 seasons, was present for the photoshoot at Oriel Park this week alongside current Dundalk players Greg Sloggett, Joe Adams, John Martin and Paul Doyle.
The kit is one of Umbro’s most sustainable to date. Constructed using recycled polyester fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles, the advanced fabrics also include moisture-wicking and anti-microbial treatment.
The logo of official club sponsor BetRegal adorns the front of the shirt while the branding of club partners John McCabe Nissan and STATSports is emblazoned on the sleeves and back of the jersey respectively. Infant and youth sizes come without the BetRegal logo.
The new third kit, which will make its debut in pre-season, is available to buy now from the club shop at Oriel Park which is open from 10am-4.30pm on Friday, January 14th and from 12pm-4pm on Saturday, January 15th.
Supporters can also buy it online from the Umbro website.
