News: Pats Parking / Buses / Bars / Meeting / Derry
There is a lot going on at Dundalk FC these days – here are some news items we’d like to bring to your attention!
For those of you going to the match -please leave early and arrive early!
There is another major event at the nearby church and that it is very advisable to aim to be at the ground 45 minutes before kick-off. A recommended option is to park at the Red Cow Luas stop and get the Luas to Suir Road. The ground is about a 10 minute walk from there.
Entry for Dundalk fans to Richmond Park will be via the archway.
Remember the match is a 7.30 kick-off instead of the usual 7.45!
If you are booked on any of Tony Curtis’ buses for Friday night – Tony has asked us to pass on that the buses will now leave the Magnet at 5.30pm instead of 5.45pm.
The Lilywhite Lounge will be open for the big match on Friday night. Match night bar prices apply – plus the bar will remain open for all supporters returning to Dundalk after the match. Remember all profits from the bars in Oriel Park are re-invested back into Dundalk Football Club!
A reminder that there is a supporters meeting next Tuesday in the Lilywhite Lounge at 8pm to officially launch the 500 Club. All are welcome! Club officials and Stephen Kenny and squad members will be present. Also, club officials will be on John Murphy’s Dundalk FM show on Saturday afternoon from 4pm to talk about the club and the new membership scheme.
Derry City Fixture Rearranged
The Derry City match that was due to be played on Friday October 4th has been re-arranged for Monday September 30th at 7.45. This will mean a busy few days for Dundalk players and fans as we also play Limerick on Friday 27th September in Oriel Park.
