Our SSE Airtricity League Premier Division game against Sligo Rovers, which was due to be played at The Showgrounds on Saturday, June 11th, has been postponed.
The fixture will be rescheduled due to the fact that Nathan Shepperd and Joe Adams have been named in the Wales squad for their upcoming UEFA European U21 Championship Qualifiers.
The Welsh face the Netherlands on June 11th before ending the campaign against Gibraltar on June 14th. Both games will be played at Parc y Scarlets in Llanelli
It means that our first game back after the mid-season break will take place on Friday, June 17th when Shamrock Rovers visit Oriel Park.
Three other SSE Airtricity League Premier Division games that were due to take place that weekend have also been called off.
Drogheda United v UCD, Shelbourne v Derry City and St Patrick’s Athletic v Shamrock Rovers, which were all scheduled for Friday, June 10th, have been postponed
New dates and kick-off times will be confirmed in due course.
