Waterford 1-2 DFC
The Champions secured a 2-1 win away to Waterford at the RSC on Friday night courtesy of goals from Patrick Hoban and Ronan Murray, Dessie Hutchinson scored a late goal for the home side.
Hoban, Dane Massey and Patrick McEleney all had chances to score before the deadlock was broken.
Dundalk went in front on the 50th minute after good work from Seán Gannon on the right picked out Hoban who headed past Garry Comerford.
