Promising young attacker Val Adedokun has put pen-to-paper on a new two-year contract with the Lilywhites.
The 17-year-old has flourished in the club’s academy teams since arriving from Malahide United in 2017 and signed his first professional contract with the club last January.
He made his first-team debut in September 2020 when he came off the bench in the SSE Airtricity League fixture with Shamrock Rovers at Oriel Park.
Adedokun has been involved with the Republic of Ireland at U15 and U17 level and speaking to dundalkfc.com, he said that he was looking forward to another year of development with the first-team squad.
“I feel very blessed to have made my first-team debut last year,” said Val. “It’s great to know that Filippo trusts me and is willing to give me an opportunity and, hopefully, this year I can look forward to more appearances with the first team.”
