A massive weekend lies ahead for Dundalk FC’s academy teams with five sides in action across Saturday and Sunday, including two huge knockout fixtures.
At Oriel Park, our MU15s host Shamrock Rovers in the Michael Hayes Cup quarter-finals on Saturday at 2pm. It’s a huge test for the lads but a great opportunity to reach the final four and all support at Oriel would be greatly appreciated.

Meanwhile, the MU14s hit the road as they travel to Kerry for a Last-16 clash in the Eddie Wallace Cup. The squad heads south in good form, with two wins and a narrow loss during the recent U15 Development Weekend, and a convincing win over Stradbally last week that saw them qualify from the group stages.

New signing Charlie Franzoni opened his account with a brace in that match, and with several players back from holidays, spirits are high heading into Saturday’s 3pm kick-off.
“The lads are in a good place, We’ve had good preparation, and we’re excited for the challenge. Fingers crossed we can do the business.”

Alongside these two huge cup games, three more academy sides are also in league action:
MU20 vs Longford Town | Saturday, 3:30pm at Oriel Park
WU17 vs Sligo Rovers | Saturday, 4pm
MU17 vs UCD | Sunday, 2pm
Get down to Oriel Park this Saturday and show your support for the next generation of Lilywhites. With three games on home turf, including a huge MU15 cup quarter-final, your backing could make all the difference!
