Dundalk Football Club is proud to announce a new partnership with Dole Ireland, who come on board as both the club’s Official Snack Partner and Official Boys Academy Sponsor. The partnership strengthens a relationship that dates back decades and brings together two organizations committed to health, youth development, and community wellbeing.
The deal will see Dole support Dundalk FC’s Boys Academy with healthy snacks, nutritional education, and visibility across kits and club events. Supporters will also benefit, with Dole smoothies being sampled at selected matches at Oriel Park this season.
“This is a significant and very welcome partnership,” said Nita Whelan, Head of Operations at Dundalk FC. “Dole has always had deep roots in Dundalk, and we’re delighted to formalize that connection through this new sponsorship. Their focus on health and youth development mirrors our own priorities. We’re excited to work together to fuel the next generation of Dundalk talent, both on and off the pitch.”

Dole’s ties to Dundalk go back over seventy years, with the company maintaining a strong presence in the area through employment and long-standing support of local initiatives.
“We’ve been proud supporters of our hometown club since the 1950s,” said Vincent Dolan, VP of Global Marketing, Sustainability, and Corporate Communications at Dole plc. “We’re delighted to continue that tradition by partnering with Dundalk Football Club as the Official Snack Partner and Boys Academy Sponsor. Fruit and sport are both important parts of a healthy lifestyle, and this partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to promoting wellbeing in the community.”
As part of the collaboration, Dole will provide fruit and healthy snack options for academy training, holiday camps, and community events. The partnership will also include educational initiatives to encourage healthy habits from an early age, and appearances at local schools to promote nutrition and active lifestyles.
Matchdays will also get a healthy upgrade, with fans invited to sample Dole smoothies at selected home fixtures. Dates will be announced in due course via the club’s official channels.
This partnership forms part of a wider strategy to enhance the support offered to young players coming through the club’s ranks. Nutrition plays a central role in player development, and with Dole’s backing, Dundalk FC is taking another step towards building a stronger, more sustainable player pathway.
Together, Dole and Dundalk FC are investing in the future, on the pitch, in the stands, and across the community.
