Saturday’s Clean Up Day at Oriel Park highlighted the strength of Dundalk FC as a community club, with a significant number of supporters volunteering their time and effort to improve the club’s facilities and surrounding areas.
Executive Director Chris Clinton praised the collective effort:
“The local support for this effort was outstanding. This is the way forward. We are a community club in the truest sense, and this community effort had real heart. Thank you all so much for leading this — it was magnificent.”

More was achieved on the day than expected, and it was a positive and productive effort from everyone involved.
Appreciation for Volunteers and Supporter Groups
The club would like to extend its sincere thanks to the Dundalk FC Supporters Trust, the 1903, and the Shedside Army, whose members played a major role in organising, coordinating, and volunteering throughout the day. Along with the many supporters who gave their time, their contribution was central to the success of the Clean Up Day.

Thanks to Our Local Supporters and Partners
We are also very grateful to the local businesses and organisations who provided valuable support:
Ever Kleen Cleaning Service
Mo Chara, for providing food and drinks for volunteers
Oxygen, for supplying skips
Terry Kelly Paint Store, for providing paint for the day
AV Direct, for supplying cleaning materials free of charge
Louth County Council, including support from the Integration Support Coordinator, who helped arrange additional volunteers
Brian McKeown, for the use of a digger
David Lynch of Ice Tech Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Brew Crew, for providing free hot drinks
The club would like to thank everyone who contributed to making the day such a positive and productive success.
