A partnership programme involving Dundalk Town Council, Dundalk Credit Union, Dundalk FC Supporters Trust, the 1903 Supporters Club and the Shedside Army, the scheme is designed to provide funds for club initiatives involving fans and club volunteers.
All monies will go directly to these programmes and will be sourced through the post match collection of bottles and cans in the ground.
These will then be brought to relevant RE-TURN machines and converted into cash which can then be used to fund programmes.
If you are interested in helping with this initiative, the first collection will take place on Saturday morning at 10.30am as part of the Saturday Morning Cleanup and all volunteers are welcome.
Present at the launch were Gerry Lennon (DFC Trust), Logan Carroll and Orla Crilly (1903), Robert Nash (Cathaoirleach Dundalk Town Council), Jack McKenna (Shedside Army), Jane McDermott (DAO/SLO Dundalk FC), Joe McGuinness (CEO Dundalk FC), Tom O'Connor (SES Officer Dundalk FC) and Vicki Prendergast (Dundalk Credit Union)
