Horgan and Murphy Join Redeemer Girls NS for European School Sports Day

Dundalk FC’s Daryl Horgan and Luke Murphy joined pupils and staff at Redeemer Girls National School on Friday, 26th September, to celebrate European School Sports Day 2025.

The initiative, which sees thousands of schools across Ireland and Europe take part on the same day, is all about fun, inclusion, and the joy of being active. Pupils at Redeemer Girls NS enjoyed a morning of sport and games with the Lilywhites duo, who were on hand to encourage participation and share the importance of keeping active.

European School Sports Day highlights how physical activity boosts not only health and wellbeing, but also learning and school spirit. Through team sports and inclusive activities, children discover the value of working together while having fun.
