Daniel Kelly marked his 25th birthday in style, bagging the winner at Oriel Park on Friday night to end Shamrock Rovers' 33-game unbeaten league run.

Speaking about his 59th-minute striker afterwards, he said: "I said 'I'll just smack it and see what happens' and thankfully it went in! I was hoping to go across the keeper and it had enough power to take it by him."
