We will begin the 2022 SSE Airtricity League Premier Division season by welcoming Derry City to Oriel Park on Friday, February 18th.

The visit of Ruaidhri Higgins’ side will be followed by a trip to Dalymount Park to face Bohemians a week later before we round the month off with a home game against Finn Harps on Friday, February 28th.

March gets underway with away fixtures against Sligo Rovers (Saturday, March 5th) and Damien Duff’s Shelbourne (Friday, March 11th) before Shamrock Rovers come to Oriel Park on Monday, March 14th. The first Louth Derby of the season takes place at Head In The Game Park on Friday, March 18th.

The first of six games in April takes place when newly-promoted UCD come to Oriel Park on Friday, April 1st before the opening series of games concludes with a trip to Richmond Park to take on St Patrick’s Athletic.

Other dates for the diary include the three remaining Louth Derby fixtures against Kevin Doherty’s Drogheda United on April 29th (H), July 8th (A) and September 30th (H). The curtain will come down on the league season with a trip to the Ryan McBride Brandywell to face Derry City on Friday, November 4th.

The season gets underway on the weekend of February 13th when Shamrock Rovers take on St Patrick’s Athletic in the FAI President’s Cup. The mid-season break takes place between rounds 18 and 19 from Saturday, May 28th to Thursday, June 9th.

The final of the Extra.ie FAI Cup, which gets underway on the week ending Sunday, July 31st, has been pencilled on for Sunday, November 13th at the Aviva Stadium.
