We are now inviting expressions of interest for our Pre-Academy trials which will take place in the coming weeks for boys born in 2011.
The Dundalk FC Pre-Academy gives players a platform to develop their skills whilst playing with their respective schoolboys league clubs and offers them the best opportunity to advance to League of Ireland academy level.
Thirteen of the players who took part in last year’s Pre-Academy have gone on to play at EA SPORTS League of Ireland Academy U14 level this season.
Trials for the Dundalk FC Pre-Academy get underway at Oriel Park on Good Friday, March 29th. Further trials will also take place on Saturday, April 6th and Saturday, April 13th.
The final trial will be held on Sunday, April 21st ahead of the start of the programme a week later. Times will be confirmed in due course.
Dundalk FC MU17 head coach Thomas McShane will return as Pre-Academy coaching co-ordinator and all sessions will be run by UEFA-qualified, Dundalk FC academy coaches.
