Deadline Day: Signing Tom Grivosti

Dundalk FC have completed the signing of defender Tom Grivosti from St Patrick's Athletic on a multi-year deal on transfer deadline day.

Grivosti, 27, arrives at Oriel Park with over 160 senior appearances to his name across spells in England, Scotland and Ireland. Born in Liverpool, he came through the youth ranks at Bolton Wanderers before a move north of the border to Ross County in 2017.

The defender enjoyed a productive four years at Ross County, helping the club to the Scottish Championship title and Scottish Challenge Cup in the 2018–19 season, before a loan spell at Elgin City in 2021–22.

Grivosti joined St Patrick's Athletic in January 2022 and went on to make more than 110 appearances for the Inchicore club across all competitions. During his time there he won the FAI Cup in 2023, and featured extensively in European competition.

A recognised, experienced operator at League of Ireland Premier Division level, Grivosti becomes the latest addition to the Dundalk squad following the arrival of Trevor Clarke and Cian Dillon as the club continues to build for the remainder of the campaign.

Speaking on the signing, Dundalk manager Ciarán Kilduff said: "I'm delighted to have Tom at Oriel Park. I think it's a real statement of intent from the club, and I think he's going to add a lot immediately to our group and help us finish the season positively."
