Dundalk FC are back in Oriel action on Friday night (April 10th) when Derry City are our visitors. The match kicks-off at 7.45pm.
Dundalk enjoyed an excellent Easter weekend – with a 3-2 win at Tolka Park over Shelbourne, before an exciting 2-0 win over St Patrick’s Athletic at Oriel Park on Monday.

Ciaran Kilduff Comments:
“We’re looking forward to welcoming Derry City to Oriel Park. We’re on a good run ourselves, and I think confidence is high in the group. A lot of players have stepped up in recent weeks and we’ve obviously had a great start to this three-game week, but we want to finish it with another good performance at home in front of our support.
The support all season so far has been amazing and we hope that continues on Friday night. The lads are giving everything, but this is a really tough game against a Derry City team that will be very determined and focused to come and get points from us, so we have to keep our home form as positive and as good as we can. That’s going to take a monumental effort both on and off the pitch.
We’re looking forward to what should be a very good but tough game for us, and we just hope everyone continues to support the team.”

Mayowa Animasahun Comments:
“It’s another game that we have to attack with full focus and full force. There are no easy games in this division. You can’t look at any fixture and think it’s going to be straightforward, because every game is tough. Every team is strong, and if you’re not at your best, you’ll get punished.
It’s a privilege to see the fans happy and proud of the team. To have over 3,000 people at a game is brilliant. Dundalk fans love to see a team working hard and giving everything…when we’re able to give them that and it’s a great feeling when we get the support coming back”.
