Louie Annesley has been named in the Gibraltar squad for the upcoming international double-header with Wales and the Republic of Ireland.

The 23-year-old, who has missed Dundalk’s last six games with a hamstring injury, returned to full training last week and will be hoping to add to his 37 caps.

Gibraltar face the Welsh in a friendly at the Racecourse Ground in Wrexham on Wednesday, October 11th before taking on Stephen Kenny’s Republic of Ireland in a EURO 2024 Qualifier in the Estadio Algarve in Portugal on Monday, October 16th.

Meanwhile, Senan Mullen has been named in the Republic of Ireland MU19 squad for this week’s double-header against Scotland (Wednesday) and Faroe Islands (Saturday) in Pinatar, Spain.

Sixteen of Tom Mohan’s 23-man squad currently play in the League of Ireland with the matches forming part of the Irish team’s preparation for the UEFA European U19 Championship qualifiers next month against Albania, Slovenia and Belgium.
