Ciaran Kilduff Previews Friday nights clash versus Cobh Ramblers.

📅 Date: Friday, 16th of May
🕖 Kick-off: 7:45 PM
📍 Venue: St. Colman’s Park
Dundalk FC travel to St. Colman’s Park this Friday night for what promises to be a blockbuster clash against fellow high flyers Cobh Ramblers in the SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division.
The Lilywhites currently sit top of the table and remain unbeaten this season but manager Ciarán Kilduff knows that means little when the whistle blows in Cork.
"It’s arguably the biggest game so far this season," said Kilduff. "Cobh are a great team and they’re on a really good run of form."
With a passionate home crowd expected to pack into St. Colman’s Park, Kilduff knows his side will need to rise to the occasion.
"I’m expecting a great occasion down there. I think they’ll have a big crowd behind them, and we have to go into their backyard and put on a performance."
While Dundalk’s early-season form has been outstanding, Kilduff remains focused on the task at hand.
"We’re top of the table. We’re unbeaten. But that matters for nothing now. I’m sure that’s motivation for Cobh. We'll look after ourselves, prepare properly, and do our best in all the areas we can."
With a full squad available and strong momentum behind them, Dundalk see this as a key opportunity to build on their impressive start.
"This season we started well but we’d like to push on now," Kilduff added. "It’s a perfect opportunity to go down and play against a good team. Everybody’s available and everyone’s hungry players and staff. It’s a great occasion and a game we’re really looking forward to and relishing."
With three vital points at stake, it’s all set to be a fierce contest under the Friday night lights.
