Ciaran Kilduff Previews Friday nights clash versus Cobh Ramblers.

š Date:Ā Friday, 16th of May
š Kick-off:Ā 7:45 PM
š Venue:Ā St. Colmanās Park
Dundalk FC travel to St. Colmanās Park this Friday night for what promises to be a blockbuster clash against fellow high flyers Cobh Ramblers in the SSE Airtricity Menās First Division.
The Lilywhites currently sit top of the table and remain unbeaten this season but manager CiarƔn Kilduff knows that means little when the whistle blows in Cork.
"Itās arguably the biggest game so far this season,"Ā said Kilduff. "Cobh are a great team and theyāre on a really good run of form."
With a passionate home crowd expected to pack into St. Colmanās Park, Kilduff knows his side will need to rise to the occasion.
"Iām expecting a great occasion down there. I think theyāll have a big crowd behind them, and we have to go into their backyard and put on a performance."
While Dundalkās early-season form has been outstanding, Kilduff remains focused on the task at hand.
"Weāre top of the table. Weāre unbeaten. But that matters for nothing now. Iām sure thatās motivation for Cobh. We'll look after ourselves, prepare properly, and do our best in all the areas we can."
With a full squad available and strong momentum behind them, Dundalk see this as a key opportunity to build on their impressive start.
"This season we started well but weād like to push on now,"Ā Kilduff added. "Itās a perfect opportunity to go down and play against a good team. Everybodyās available and everyoneās hungry players and staff. Itās a great occasion and a game weāre really looking forward to and relishing."
With three vital points at stake, itās all set to be a fierce contest under the Friday night lights.
