Ciaran Kilduff Previews Friday nights clash versus Cobh Ramblers.

đ Date:Â Friday, 16th of May
đ Kick-off:Â 7:45 PM
đ Venue:Â St. Colmanâs Park
Dundalk FC travel to St. Colmanâs Park this Friday night for what promises to be a blockbuster clash against fellow high flyers Cobh Ramblers in the SSE Airtricity Menâs First Division.
The Lilywhites currently sit top of the table and remain unbeaten this season but manager CiarĂĄn Kilduff knows that means little when the whistle blows in Cork.
"Itâs arguably the biggest game so far this season,"Â said Kilduff. "Cobh are a great team and theyâre on a really good run of form."
With a passionate home crowd expected to pack into St. Colmanâs Park, Kilduff knows his side will need to rise to the occasion.
"Iâm expecting a great occasion down there. I think theyâll have a big crowd behind them, and we have to go into their backyard and put on a performance."
While Dundalkâs early-season form has been outstanding, Kilduff remains focused on the task at hand.
"Weâre top of the table. Weâre unbeaten. But that matters for nothing now. Iâm sure thatâs motivation for Cobh. We'll look after ourselves, prepare properly, and do our best in all the areas we can."
With a full squad available and strong momentum behind them, Dundalk see this as a key opportunity to build on their impressive start.
"This season we started well but weâd like to push on now,"Â Kilduff added. "Itâs a perfect opportunity to go down and play against a good team. Everybodyâs available and everyoneâs hungry players and staff. Itâs a great occasion and a game weâre really looking forward to and relishing."
With three vital points at stake, itâs all set to be a fierce contest under the Friday night lights.
