Dundalk FC is delighted to announce the signing of Rohan Vaughan, a powerful and dynamic striker who joins the club at a crucial stage of the 2025 season.

The London-born forward, known for his physical presence and intelligent movement, arrives in the midst of a hectic period, with the FAI Cup set to kick off this weekend and is eager to make an immediate impact in the famous black and white shirt.

“It’s been a hectic few days,” Rohan admitted. “I was at home in London and next thing I know, I’m flying out Tuesday morning and straight into things here. But it’s been a very good few days, really exciting.”

A traditional number nine with a modern edge, Vaughan brings strength, pace, and a clinical eye for goal. He thrives when holding the ball up and running in behind defenses, a skillset that will add a fresh dimension to Dundalk’s attacking options as they push for silverware.

“I’m a big number nine,” he said. “I like to hold the ball up, bring others into play, and I love getting in behind defenders. I can’t wait to show what I can do here.”

One of the most exciting aspects of this signing is the emotional connection it carries, Rohan will link up with his brother at Oriel Park, fulfilling a long-held dream for the duo.

“We’ve never played together before,” he revealed. “We’ve literally dreamt of this moment. The amount of times we’ve talked about it is crazy. To be able to do it at this club, with its history, it’s phenomenal. We can’t wait.”

With the FAI Cup just days away, the new man is hopeful he’ll be in the mix.

“If everything can get sorted in time, I’d love to be involved,” he added. “It’s a competition you grow up hearing about, and to play in it for a club like this would be special.”
