Dundalk FC and Mo Chara Announce New Partnership

Dundalk FC is delighted to announce that Mo Chara will operate the bars at Oriel Park for the 2026 season as part of a new partnership with the club, under a licence agreement connected to the existing Social Club bar licence at Oriel Park.

The agreement marks an important step in refreshing an integral part of the matchday experience at Oriel Park, with a clear focus on atmosphere, enjoyment and reconnecting with supporters on match nights.

As part of the partnership, Mo Chara will operate the Lilywhite Lounge and the Enda McGuill bars throughout the season.

Speaking about the partnership, the lads from Mo Chara said: “We have been supporters of the town since we were young fellas and when we realised — very quickly — we weren’t going to be players, the dream evolved into one day being a proud sponsor of the town. With all of the positivity around the club this year, we felt the timing was right. When the club asked if we’d be interested in taking on the bars for the season, it was a no-brainer. This is all about getting people back up to Oriel and improving the matchday experience.”

They added: “We plan to bring a bit of life back around the Lilywhite and Enda McGuill on home and away matchdays, and help the club reconnect with the local community by hosting events and parties — something the Lilywhite has always been famous for. Roll on the 2026 season and we’ll see you all very soon.”

Nita Whelan, Operations Manager at Dundalk FC, said: “This partnership is about adding to matchdays at Oriel Park — improving the atmosphere around the ground and making the time before and after games a better experience for supporters. We’re really looking forward to working with Mo Chara. They bring great energy and ideas, and that’s exactly what we want around Oriel on match nights. With Ciaran’s preparations with the team in full swing, the ground development works progressing and a host of new ideas being implemented, we’re really looking forward to the start of the season.
