It was a brilliant weekend for our underage sides who recorded five wins and a draw from the six games played.
A brace from Hughie Martin and a goal from Shaun Platt helped our
team to a 3-1 win over Sligo Rovers at Oriel Park on Saturday. The trip home from Sligo was a happy one for our
team who left The Showgrounds on Saturday with a 1-0 win thanks to Ava McGeer's goal. In Waterford, our
side took another big step towards the EA SPORTS LOI Academy title with a 2-0 win at the SETU Arena. Tom McLoughlin put the Lilywhites in front early on before Hugh Smith added a second after the break. On Sunday, goals from Callum Bonner (2),
Conor O’Gorman and Senan Mullen helped our
side to an excellent 4-2 win away to Finn Harps. In Dublin, our
team remain at the top of the table after picking up an excellent point against second-placed DLR Waves; the in-form Madeleine McKinley grabbing a 75th-minute equaliser from the penalty spot in a 1-1 draw. Our
travelled to Bishopsgate on Sunday and put four goals without reply past Longford Town. Dapo Annunlopo, Calum Woods, Jack Martin and Oisín Smyth were all on target for the young Lilywhites.
