Dundalk FC has once again linked up with See Change to promote their Green Ribbon campaign.
See Change is a partnership of Irish organisations working together to reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with mental health difficulties. It campaigns for an Ireland where every person has an open and positive attitude to their own and others’ mental health.
The annual See Change Green Ribbon campaign aims to spread awareness about all mental health difficulties and to help end mental health stigma and discrimination.
2023 marks the 11th year of the Green Ribbon campaign, which has been running since the start of September.
Green Ribbons were handed out to all supporters on the way into Oriel Park for Monday evening’s game with Cork City which was the latest event to promote the initiative.
Since the beginning of the month, See Change has hosted events at locations such as Electric Picnic, run social media campaigns and helped support and encourage workplaces, organisations and the general public to start having open and honest conversations about mental health.
You can also pick up a Green Ribbon in participating outlets such as eir, AIB, Boots and Irish Rail.
